Best Places to Work Outside the Office

No matter what your job is, going into the office and getting work done can be a real struggle sometimes. From your commute, disagreements with co-workers, to confrontations with your boss, it isn't always the most pleasant place to work.

Many workers resort to working from home as an alternative to the traditional office space, but this can create an entirely new slew of distractions as you can only think about the things you need to take care of at home.

If you can't work in your office space every day, but your home office isn't getting it done, here are a few other alternatives to finding the perfect place to get your work done.

Coffee Shops

This one may be an obvious choice, but the coffee shop can truly be an excellent spot to get a lot of your work done. From having your own personal spot on a comfy chair, an endless amount of coffee at your disposal for a few bucks, and having the energy of other people around you, the coffee shop is a great place to let your creative juices flow

There can be a couple of downsides to these places, however, one of the biggest ones being potentially slow internet access.

Co-Working Space

If you haven't tried one of these out, it is definitely worth taking a look at. One of the unique trends in remote working that is taking off in the 21st century, the co-working space offers a great place for those looking to get out of the office, especially entrepreneurs and freelancers.

With the ability to talk with others and having feedback for your ideas, you can pay for these spaces typically by the day or by the month. Be aware, however, that you might not be a fan of everyone else dwelling in the space.

The Library

Yes we know, you probably haven't stepped foot in a library since finals week in your senior year in college. Hear us out, however, because the library can be a great place of solitude to focus in.

With free wifi, a comfortable climate controlled area, and plenty of books for you to peruse when you are in need of a break, the library is actually one of the best possible spots for you to check out when looking to get out of the office.

Outside

Now this one may be off the beaten path, but if you have a good weather in an abundance, it may do you some good to get outside and get some fresh air while getting some tasks done.

Whether it is using your home wifi and just sitting out on your front porch, or you can take care of a project without internet and simply go to the park, there are a wide range of different places you can go outside to help get your creative juices flowing.

The next time you feel trapped in your office space, give some of these spots a try for a new change of pace.
