Noted author and leadership expert, Kevin Kruse writing for forbes.com gives us some great feedback from a survey done by the Microsoft employees about the benefits of working from home. Hands down the biggest benefit is the better balance they are able to achieve with work and home life. Of course, there are many other benefits as well including the money saved on gas and clothing and the blessing of working in a less stressful environment. Kruse states that while employees love working from home, many managers are not as comfortable with it because they can’t “see” their employees working.
